Jodie Baker – Free Yourself ("I", "me") is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What Information I Collect

I may collect:

Your name, contact details (email, phone) and, where relevant, address

Booking and appointment history

Brief session notes relevant to your care

Payment information (processed securely via third-party payment providers — I do not store your full card details)

Any health-related information you choose to share that is relevant to the service you're booking

How I Use Your Information

Your information is used only to:

Book, manage and remind you of appointments

Maintain session notes for continuity of care

Communicate with you about your sessions

Meet legal, insurance or professional obligations

I do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Disclosure of Information

Your information will only be disclosed to others where:

You are at risk of seriously harming yourself or someone else

Disclosure is required by law or a court order

You have given written consent for information to be shared

Storage & Security

All records are stored securely (electronically and/or physically) and are only accessible by me. Session notes and personal information are retained for seven (7) years from your last contact, in line with professional and ethical record-keeping standards, after which they are securely destroyed.

Access & Correction

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time by contacting me directly.

Third-Party Services

Bookings, payments and website hosting may be processed through third-party platforms (e.g. booking software, payment processors, website host). These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.

If you have any concerns about how your personal information has been handled, please contact me directly in the first instance. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
